Can anyone create a map?
Yes, all registered users can create as many maps as they like.

How much does it cost?
Nothing. The PlaceNote maps service is currently free to all registered users.

How do I put markers on my map?
It's easy. We will provide you with a form where you can enter an address. Alternatively, you will be able to click on a map to set your marker.

How do I get my map to appear in my webpage?
After you have assembled your map we will give you some html code that you can copy and paste into your web page.

How can I customize my map?
In addition to adding your own text and graphics you can also change your map's marker color, zoom level, centerpoint and map type...

How can I use a marker that I've made?
Contact us! We'd be happy to integrate it into PlaceNote maps.

Why do I have to register?
Most sites that allow user comment submissions require registration to reduce the mischief of anonymous evil doers.

Why are you using Yahoo! maps?
Many community sites like MySpace do not allow users to put javascript in their user pages. Currently the Yahoo! Flash map is the only technology that works around this restriction.
